Multiple Exposure
Typically when one thinks of a photograph they see a single image frozen in time. Motion is thought to be the realm of video. Video, however, is merely a series of still images quickly flashing one after another on a screen. Using what we know about Double Exposures we can also represent motion using multiple similar images. The key is shutter speed, timing, and a steady camera. A photographer could capture a Time Lapse image by slowing down the shutter speed and letting the camera capture a single image that represents a relatively large span of time, or they could quicken the shutter speed and capture several images in a short span to create a Sequence or multiple exposure of a fast event.
