HueHue is the named color of reflected light. The whole visible light spectrum can be seen within a rainbow- red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. The average human can see within this range. Those with color blindness can see less colors in this range and those with tetrachromacy can see additional colors in this range.

SaturationSaturation is how bright or intense a color is. This, for example, could range from the most intense magenta hair seen on the left to absolute grey on the right hand side. Saturation is also affected when adding white to a color to make a tint as well as adding black to create a shade. Grey can be added to create a color tone. Hue and saturation can be used to enhance mood and emotion This is often used in marketing and advertisement.
